B-side by Walé present HAI-TEE

B-side by Walé have collaborated with artist Michael Dudley to design an exclusive limited edition t-shirt to raise money for the Haiti appeal. All the profits raised from the sale of the t-shirts will go to the Red Cross Haiti Earthquake Appeal.

The t-shirt symbolises love and hope for all the inhabitants on Haiti, who still need help five months after the earthquake hit. It has been worn by Alicia Keys, Example, Estelle, Reggie Yates, Marvin from JLS and Jay Sean.

The Red Cross is distributing funds for vital supplies, providing medical aid and water for the survivors of the Haiti earthquake.

The Timberland and Wyclef Collaboration

Yes sir, you heard it right.  The music artist is collaborating with the brand Timberland to design a capsule of eco-friendly footwear and apparel.  Apparently, there will be 16 boot styles under Timberland’s Earthkeepers line and will be made with recycled and organic materials.  And get this, for every pair sold, 2 dollars will be donated to the Yele Haiti charity founded by the artist himself.

It was a busy week but we love it…..

It has been a busy week for B-side by Wale.  Working on some cool projects with artists like Alesha Dixon, Pixi Lott and Kid British as Art Director. Besides these amazing projects, Wale has been working with the NHS Blood and Transplant.  The designer Wale Adeyemi is lending his support to encourage blood donors for VIP appeal.  Exclusive limited edition T-shirts are to be given as gifts of appreciation as the campaign gears up to build blood stock during the summer.

The National Blood Service VIP Appeal launches the Wale Adeyemi T-shirt appeal. The designer is famous for his fresh and funky designs including his signature graffiti jacket worn by David Beckham.  He has also designed male and female exclusive limited-edition T-shirts using the slogans ‘love life’ and ‘blood brothers’ under his B-side label.

The appeal is running throughout August and September and has been launched to encourage new donors to step forward and donate blood now, in preparation for seasonal flu and colds. The NBS is building up stocks of blood now and through the summer to ensure healthy blood stocks when winter comes.Blood donation saves lives. Patients need blood for vital treatments every day, so it is really important for new donors, who feel well and meet blood donor selection rules, to come forward now.

Wale, who boasts high profile clients such as Estelle, Usher and Black Eyed Peas, says of his support: “When the team approached me it took a split second to decide whether to join the VIP Appeal. Giving blood can be such a daunting process if you’ve not done it before and yet it can have such a life changing impact on others and their families. If my T-shirts go on to encourage more brave donors from all ethnic minority groups then I will be very happy indeed.” For more information on the VIP Appeal visit or call 0300 123 23 23 quoting reference A05.  Just showing some support….B-side by Wale
